WHEN we last saw Harry Potter at the end
of Deathly Hallows Part 2 , he was an adult ，seeing off his own son to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from Kings Cross Platform 9 3 / 4 . Now the new play Party Potter and the Cursed（被诅咒的）Child will pick up from there.

The eight stories in the Harry potter series and the first to be told onstage ,the play will focus on Harry Potter and his son , Albus Severus , who was named after two Hogwarts headmasts(校长), They were Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape , the latter of whom Harry describes as" the bravest man l ever knew ". Unsurprisingly , Albus appears to be the "cursed child" of the title .

Now in early middle age , Harry is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic , a husband and a father of three school-age children James Sirius , Albus and Lily Luna . While Harry has problems with a past that won't stay where it belongs ,Albus , who is starting his study at Hogwarts , must deal with a family legacy ( 遗产 ) he never wanted .As past and present come together , both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth : Sometimes , darkness comes from unexpected places .

As many as 175,000 tickets for the first three mnonths of the shows run at Palace Theater in London , from June 7 until Sept 18 next year, sold out in eight hours, making the sales"unprecedented(空前的)for a theatre production", according to The Telegraph .
