    本期讲述电子邮件的故事。


    Email has been dominating the office tool list since the World Wide Web was created, why? Because it’s fast and safe, easy to file, to locate and restore; it’s organized both in time and words, it concludes multiple information, and last, it’s low-cost.

    Email accelerates the pace of our working process in the office, information can travel through the globe in a second. It is an essential and popular aided tool for Automation Office system improving work efficiency. Without further ado, let’s cut to the chase.

    电子邮件开发信的要求:
    1. 没有链接,没有附件,特别是图片。
    原因:It will be identified by security software as spam as attachments such as photos, super link, compressed files and editable files could contain computer virus, nobody would open an email with attachments from a strange email address.

    2. 简洁。
    原因:Too many words kills readers’ patience and interest

    3. 介绍公司不要超过2句话。
    原因:Because non-third-party presentation is all bullshit in a business man’s eye

    4. 用最简单的英文
    原因:If you would like to teach them writing, yes, just do it.

    5. 不要搞推销( no peddling)
    原因:everybody hates promotional email

    用两封内容一样,写法不一样的邮件作个对比:

    很显然,第二封信比较能吊起人的胃口,能得到回复的几率也比较大,比起干瘪瘪的推销,第二封是有实质性地互动可能存在的,而且是双方都很关心的话题。而且潜台词在告诉对方,我研究过你的产品,这本身就是对对方的一种尊重,说明你有认真地关注过他们,因此你能得到人家关注和回复的几率就比较大。

    So take some time to get to know your target customers and their products and services before you write an email, what type are they? Reseller, dealer, distributor, retailer or manufacturer? Find the connection between your unique selling point and customers’ demands to have the attention, the content of your email shall focus on different key points based on different types of customers.

    For example, importers are likely to have more attention to exclusive agency, new product, leadtime and price, as they have the capability to present new product and new marketing proposal to their customers which are dealers, retailers and distributors.

    业务员的目标联系人对这几类信息感兴趣:
    1. 质量更优,价格更好。
    2. 新产品
    3. 别人对自己的产品提出意见。
    4. 新的包装和设计。
    5. 强大的研发,准确的交货和多样的付款方式。


    邮件的内容必须针对不同的客户提炼不同的卖点,才有得到回复的可能,说一千道一万,终归都是回到产品上,产品才是核心,新手切忌夸夸其谈,说一些没有根据的销售官腔话。
